A range of gourmet jams made using coffee-cherry pulp, a by-product of the coffee production process. Developed as a brand extension for Nespresso coffee, in reaction to a competition brief asking for a "new and indulgent coffee experience". I was interested in creating a product that could give coffee farmers a second revenue stream, and begin to repair Nestle's CSR credentials. The coffee-cherry pulp has a sweet, lychee-like taste and natural mild caffeine content. For cherries processed in water, it can be recovered and preserved on-site using locally-sourced raw sugar.
